Kiera is a specialist in employment law. Over 10 years experience advising large and small employers on all aspects of employment law has given Kiera the insight to advise on the law, what it takes to retain key employees and avoid costly disputes. Kiera provides support to our corporate tram, giving expert advice on restructuring and acquisitions. Her approach is to find a solution, not simply give a lecture on what the law allows.
Kiera’s experience covers day to day HR problems and complex restructuring issues. She has given advice on a restructure and redundancy programme involving more than 800 employees, defended multi claimant tribunal claims for unfair dismissal arising from TUPE transfers. She also assists with strategic decisions, successfully managing the exit senior executives and any contentious issues with restrictive covenants. Kiera has recent experience of advising on the complex area union recognition.
She also has solid experience in Commercial Litigation. She deals with high value professional negligence claims and complex commercial disputes. She works as part of multi disciplinary teams involved in forensic investigations into professional practices.
Kiera writes monthly articles on Employment Law for Legal Island and will be speaking at the upcoming Annual Employment Law Review.
