Paul is head of litigation. For over 20 years he has been involved in a number of high profile cases in all his practice areas. He is a recognised expert in libel and media work generally with involvement in a large number of the major cases. He recently represented the Irish Government in what is understood to be the only State Immunity case in Northern Ireland.
Paul has advised in a number of intellectual property cases, primarily patent infringement and copyright claims. This includes the successful defence of the design for a major component in the haulage industry.
His clients include the full range of media organisations, international corporations, insurance companies and one of the world’s leading tobacco companies.
